Prosedur Publikasi melalui OJS

Tanggung Jawab Editor

Editor bertanggung jawab dalam menentukan artikel mana yang layak diterbitkan di jurnal ini. Keputusan tersebut selalu didasarkan pada validitas karya ilmiah serta relevansi dan pentingnya kontribusi penelitian bagi para peneliti dan pembaca. Dalam mengambil keputusan penerbitan, editor dapat berpedoman pada kebijakan dewan redaksi jurnal serta memperhatikan ketentuan hukum yang berlaku, termasuk peraturan terkait pencemaran nama baik (libel), pelanggaran hak cipta, dan plagiarisme. Editor juga dapat berkonsultasi dengan editor lain atau penelaah (reviewer) dalam proses pengambilan keputusan.

Prosedur Publikasi melalui OJS

Seluruh proses publikasi artikel dilakukan sepenuhnya secara daring (online) menggunakan Open Journal System (OJS) dengan tahapan sebagai berikut:

  1. Pengiriman Naskah (Submission)
    Penulis mengirimkan naskah melalui sistem OJS dan melengkapi seluruh dokumen pendukung yang diperlukan, termasuk formulir etika penelitian dan pernyataan kepengarangan.

  2. Pemeriksaan Awal oleh Editor (Preliminary Check)
    Editor memeriksa kelengkapan dokumen, kesesuaian format penulisan, serta melakukan penyaringan plagiarisme menggunakan Turnitin.
    Naskah dengan tingkat kesamaan kurang dari 25% akan dilanjutkan ke tahap berikutnya.

  3. Penugasan Penelaah (Reviewer Assignment)
    Editor menunjuk minimal dua orang penelaah yang memiliki keahlian sesuai bidang penelitian untuk menelaah naskah melalui sistem double-blind review.

  4. Proses Penelaahan (Review Process)
    Penelaah memberikan komentar dan rekomendasi kepada editor dalam waktu yang telah ditentukan (biasanya dua minggu).
    Penulis kemudian melakukan revisi berdasarkan masukan tersebut dan mengunggah versi revisi melalui OJS.

  5. Keputusan Editorial (Editorial Decision)
    Berdasarkan hasil penelaahan dan perbaikan, editor akan menentukan keputusan akhir berupa:

    • Diterima tanpa revisi,

    • Diterima dengan revisi minor/major, atau

    • Ditolak untuk diterbitkan.

  6. Penyuntingan dan Tata Letak (Copyediting & Layout Editing)
    Setelah diterima, naskah akan melalui proses penyuntingan bahasa dan tata letak agar sesuai dengan format publikasi JSCP.

  7. Publikasi Online (Online Publication)
    Artikel yang telah disetujui dan disunting akan diterbitkan secara akses terbuka (open access) di laman resmi jurnal JSCP.

Publication Procedure through OJS

Editor’s Responsibility

The editor is responsible for determining which articles are suitable for publication in this journal. This decision is always based on the validity of the scholarly work, as well as the relevance and significance of the research contribution to researchers and readers. In making publication decisions, the editor may refer to the editorial board’s policies and comply with applicable legal requirements, including those concerning libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editor may also consult with other editors or reviewers during the decision-making process.

Publication Procedure via Open Journal System (OJS)

All stages of the publication process are conducted entirely online through the Open Journal System (OJS), following the steps below:

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the OJS platform and complete all required supporting documents, including the research ethics form and authorship declaration.

2. Preliminary Check by the Editor

The editor verifies the completeness of the submission, checks compliance with the journal’s formatting requirements, and conducts a plagiarism screening using Turnitin.
Manuscripts with a similarity index below 25% will proceed to the next stage.

3. Reviewer Assignment

The editor assigns at least two reviewers with relevant expertise to evaluate the manuscript using the double-blind review system.

4. Review Process

Reviewers provide comments and recommendations to the editor within the assigned period (typically two weeks). Authors then revise the manuscript based on the reviewers’ feedback and upload the revised version via OJS.

5. Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ evaluations and the author’s revisions, the editor makes a final decision, which may be one of the following:

  • Accepted without revision;

  • Accepted with minor or major revision; or

  • Rejected for publication.

6. Copyediting and Layout Editing

Once accepted, the manuscript undergoes language editing and layout formatting to conform to the JSCP publication standards.

7. Online Publication

The final, edited article is published online in open-access format on the official JSCP journal website.

 

Withdrawal and Retraction Policy

Withdrawal As a scholarly journal committed to high professional standards, we strive to provide the best possible service to our authors. We acknowledge that as an emerging journal, we need to pay close attention to improving both the manuscripts we publish and our overall service quality.

We offer facilities for authors who wish to withdraw their manuscripts for specific reasons and considerations. We hope our authors appreciate our efforts to continually enhance the content, diversify our authorship nationally and internationally, and aim for a reputable indexation.

We expect authors wishing to withdraw their manuscripts to utilize the discussion feature on their respective OJS accounts. Although it is challenging for us, especially for international authors, we will process withdrawal requests, provided they are made before online publication and are accompanied by logical reasons, courteous narrative, and adherence to social ethics and morals.

Common reasons for manuscript withdrawal often relate to the lengthy publication process, which we understand as we are always improving our service quality. However, it is crucial for authors to thoroughly review important information on our website, such as rights and obligations, author guidelines, indexing track, and others, before deciding to withdraw a manuscript.

The withdrawal process must follow established procedures and go through the DISCUSSION MENU in the OJS author account. Requests made outside of this procedure will not be accepted as they are considered unofficial.

We emphasize this policy as it could negatively impact our journal's reputation and harm all parties involved, including authors, reviewers, and editors, both materially and immaterially, and is considered unethical.
